Eric,
I agree and stated in my other post that it is a 100, as that is what Dodge called it on the VIN.
Are you sure the SO's aren't in order? If not, what practical purpose do they serve? Perhaps that is why they dropped the SO number???
That block casting is for certain a car motor, from 1966. That truck is not a 1966, early '65 at the latest.
Truck 225's were cast as 2463 230-1, 2946 404, 2465 041, 2532 634, 2946 408, and 2465 033. There are several more,...but I'm late for work! ha!ha!
The year '66 wouldn't jive with a consistent SO number order (tell me more about that), or the body style, so we still have a 62-64 and we know that it is NOT a '61 because of the grill.
MN
PS: with the amount of exposed rust, this is probably a moot point, as Sweptlines had way more hidden rust than exposed rust, by the time we get the year nailed down it will be disolved....= )
