Another interesting stat I read; the Army has something like 80 Arabic linguists - there are something like 20 over there. (My son Erik, is one of them that did a year, but is currently back at Fort Campbell... at least, for a while)
...so where are the rest of them? My son has friends of his from language school that are stationed in Korea. Arabic linguists - in Korea. Nice to see the Army hasn't changed that much since I got out.
