Mark,
I used to work on a farm/custom applicator opperation. We bought 3 cummins diesel dodge 1 ton 4x4's(1 a year from when they first came out)Out of a total of 14 tires,1 didn't have a spare,8 of them blew. These were load rated tires inflated to 80 psi with at least 75% tread left. Michelin and dodge said it was our problem for being overloaded and going offroad.(what is a mud tire for?) I might have bought that but 1 truck was just a normal pick-up that never had over a ton in the bed. We had run any and every other brand down to the cord with no problems. They also had a motorhome with Michelins and had 2 of those blow.It was the same thing every time, notice a vibration,( belts shifting )and they would die witin a week. Needless to say I won't have a set on my vehicles and that is There Problem.I would like to know if anyone has had this happen or if this was just some fluke.I could of believed we got a bad run of tires but this was over a span of 3 years with 2 different types of Michelins. Any input? Kevin
