I installed a block heater NAPA # 605-3180. It installed in the block plug just left of the distributor. This is not an easy installation as there is a shoulder at the rear of the plug opening that interferes with the heater.(does not let the heater seat completely) I got around this by using a thicker "O" ring and have had no problem for over 2 years.....Pat
