I think you hit the nail on the head. The big clue is the winch frame. In all my research, I have not found ANY winch frame closed cab pickups. Only open cabs ie weapon carriers.
Up until Pearl Haror civilian and military 1/2 tonners came down the assembly line with each other. A recent VPW magazine showed a photo inside of a mixed lot.
