There is a tiny hole in the back face of the door frame where you put the screwdriver in to free off the grub screw that retains the lock. All of this stuff is really easy to break though.

When you have the lock out you will see why they are so difficult to replace, the key slot in the front and the square drive out the back sit 1/8 maybe 3/16 low off centre on the round lock - if you try to fit a later lock they invariably have the key slot and sqaure drive right on the centreline so they dont fit 9though you can make it work by inserting a large round object in the lock holder and angling it down the appropriate amount.)

I'm sure there is a number for all these locks, though I can never remember if it is H700, H600, or whatever. All the WW2 jeeps that had locks used one number, the Dodges another, and the GMC's yet another. Same key did tailgate, ignition, and door lock.
