My cab is military and is sloped. My partners cab is civilian and it used to be flat. He cut and wire feed welded it so it was sloped. It will make a slightly noticable mismatch between the hood and cab if you use a civilian cab on a military truck. If it bothers you, find a military cab or do some sheetmetal work (difficult). Most folks don't bother and just live the difference, which again is slightly noticable.
