Another difference is rear fender shape. The 1/2 ton Carryall had a flat metal fender that fits in where the fat civilian fender was. Replacing the flat 1/2 ton military rear fender with a 39-47 WC civilian swoopy fat rear fender with three speed lines to match your front sheetmetal should be easy. The 3/4 ton Caryall has a round rear fender cutout, and the 1/2 ton rear fender will not fit in it. The 3/4 circular rear fenders in the Carryall body do not match or compliment the 1/2 ton WC front sheetmetal. It will be a design disaster. Suggestion: find a 1/2 ton Carryall with a decent body and frame and put your civilian 39-47 WC front sheetmetal on it. That's a much easier way to go about it.
