I dont think you will have any problems bolting the axels to your springs, I'm pretty sure that era truck often used the same axel housing on the front and changed the spindles, hubs, ect. from 1/2 to 3/4 ton.I checked with a couple parts stores in my area, they say the u-joints are the same for 1/2 and 3/4 ton. Other things you might check, is the drag link the same, if not you may have to change your pitman arm. Will the 1/2 ton brake booster and master cylinder work ? good luck!
