Which way engine turns? Stop and think a minute. What direction would you hand crank it if you had to? Stand in front of the engine and pretend you are hand cranking it. You'll see that it will turn to the right or clockwise. That is only way a crank will work and kick itself out when engine starts. If you do try to actually hand crank it, you'll have to be quick pulling that crank out or you could end up with a broken wrist.
The 6v engine is positive ground.
