During the 1980's Cadillacs suffered from lack of vacuum reserve. GM cured the problem by adding a vacuum assist pump and resvoir. When I transplanted an LT-1 into my 85 Jaguar I found that I needed additional vacuum capacity. The Cadillac unit was just the ticket. The junkyards are full of these cars and the unit's can be had inexpensively.
