Manual equipted motors are drilled from the factory deeper, automatic equipted motors are not drilled as deep, there is prob a solution from the looks of the post about AA adapters below, please call them and see if ya can get a answer, I thought the tip of the inmput shaft would still be too long unles either the crank was drilled out or a spacer was made???? Ya need the bearing for the tip, the homemade bushing i made when i drilled out the crank used to rattle a lot, can you buy a bushing for a manual equipted crankshaft 360 and see if it fits the 540 input shaft? that is to say will the bearing pass over the 540 input shaft or do you need to use a bearing for the truck the 540 came out of??? Good luck, do you have pictures????
