It sounds like the salvaged flywheel is from an automatic and not drilled for the input shaft? You need to be carefull with that 360 and mis-matching flywheels, the 360 is externally balanced and the flywheel is a part of that balancing. You may need to find another flywheel and get the whole assembly re-balanced.
