The original 318 had been bored .040 already and it would have taken another .025 to clean it up so I bought another 318. My original had forged TRW pistons which were put into the new new block along with all the other internals. I had my local NAPA store do the machine work and I put it back together. They simply ordered all the parts needed and had no problems. I can say it runs MUCH better and as soon as I get a few more miles on it we'll see how much stonger. My truck was beat up quite a bit but I did all my own work and just stuck with it. It's not a perfect body but it does what I intended, being a driver and trail truck. The most difficult part in my opinion was rebuilding the rear side windows, it's a two man job for sure. Please keep me up to date on your progress by email direct, I'll help where I can.
