The axle was a 'Corporate' Chrysler axle. It was a "one-off" axle and differential, with very few applications, that is why the scarcity of optional ratios. The ratios are why the truck is so capable off road. If you are looking for more speed on the highway, you can go to larger diameter tires or add an overdrive.
