The image above is of a 1940 Vf-31 data plate, and should look much the same as yours.

The small tag on this truck (called the body tag by me) was labeled 4022-12108

That, plus your serial number leads me to think these tags on your truck are from a 2wd 1 1/2 or 2 ton truck.

That does not make the cab 2wd, some owner at some point may have put those tags on a military cab.

Note how the windshield has a ring in the middle that is turned to lock the windshield in place, instead of the crank that is used on the 2wd stuff.

All the military 4wd stuff I have checked use this type of windshield latch, though someone told me once that a few trucks got the crank as some leftover 2wd cabs were used. I have not verified this, nor have I ever seen it in person.
