The real problem with hills is not going up hill but coming down. That is when you need good brakes (truck and trailer) and a a tow vehicle that is big enough not to be pushed around by the trailer. I have seen 2 jacknife situations in the since May where the trailer took over and jacknifed and rolled the tow vehicle.
