May I add;

Be sure the tie downs are rated to do the job. Whether you use straps (Norm) or Transport Rated Chains (Paul), (thats Norm and Pauls laugh), be sure they are rated for way more than your load. Secure all 4 corners with seperate tie downs.
This way if one fails, you still have 3 holding. I go one step further, probably overkill, but I also secure all 4 corners of the frame to the trailer. This eliminates any spring bounce (wallowing). I like my load to ride with the trailer, no seperate movement.

You need to plan ahead when driving, stay very alert. Your moving a lot of weight that since you have not hauled before, is a different experience. My GCVW with my Cummins Carryall, Gooseneck Trailer, Ram Diesel, on the last trip to Iowa Rally was 19,500 pounds. As Norm mentioned, the F150 raises a serious red flag to me.
