Marty,
Well then this is obviously an engine swap situation at some point in the early life of this truck. Now- What effect does that have on the value of the PW and in your opinion is it a reason to be concerned about the 15K purchase price? I have seen PW's in this condition go for considerably more than 15K but most of the time the ORIGINAL motor to the vehicle was rebuilt not exchanged for a similar 251. I have no plans to sell this truck but wouldnt feel too good about the purchase if I way overpaid thinking it was all original. A dilemma I'll have to sleep on! I want the truck but dont want to pay twice what its worth because of an engine swap. Am I over reacting to this or is it still an OK deal? Your opinion is appreciated.
John
