I am currently in the process of putting the Isuzu 4 cylinder turbo(4BD1T) into a 1951 ff panel. My daily work truck is a 1981 Ford E350 with a non-turbo 4 cylinder(4BD1),(dealer installed!) The van is quiet...you can hear the radio... and gets 30 mpg on the highway. I am told that the 6 is every bit as good and a powerhouse to boot.
