i posted this earlier today but it seemed to have disappeared. there is a 1948 (i think) power wagon for sale here in south bend, IN for $2800. it would need some work, but i'm looking for a new 4x4 toy. my question is how easy is it to make these beasts more streetable. it's about 3 hours to the Badlands Offroad Park and i would want to be able to drive there because i'm pretty sure my Tahoe wouldn't be able to tow the beast. are engine and tranny swaps possible, and can they be done somewhat inexpensively?
