Ign means it goes to the + side of the coil or to the ballast resistor, then a wire comes out of the ballast resistor and goes to the + side of the coil.
St means it goes to the S terminal on the starter solenoid.
bat means battery which can come from the post on the starter where the battery cable hooks up or from the amp guage.
acc is where anything that is not related to ignition or lighting gets its power.
You should definitely buy a shop manual.
I have been a mechanic for many years and always get one for my stuff, especially power wagons. Itmakes repairs faster and easier and more fun
