Some more info
The 1/2 ton carryall had a maximum governed road speed of 60 mph
The 3/4 ton carryall has a maxmimum governed road speed of 54 mph
M42 has a maxmimum governed road speed of 55 mph
I think the data plates are not a useful reference for the vehicles performance. Better off using engine speed for the particular vehicles as the basis for max speed in high and low range. Cruse at 2500 rpm
