You are trying to compare apples to oranges. Furthermore, you overlook the disadvantages of the Mog if you even tried to do a fair comparison.

Sure, if you want to spend $125000, you get one incredible truck/high speed tractor. I use a Mog U1800 on a weekly basis, its awesome. It lifts and dumps, and all implements are used behind it. It is also cumbersome, massive, hard to get in and out of (as Steve already stated) and very expensive. If you need to replace anything, take out a loan. Parts and service if you can find some are expensive. Doing it yourself requires a full service shop, you often have to remove the cab to access major components. You need a reality check. For $125K, I think any capable fabricator could construct a comparable vehicle. You wheeling or tractoring? Sure the U1800 will do both, but a similar tractor will do a better job given the application. The U1800 is like driving a Peterbilt through the woods, it wide, its tall, its cumbersome. Better clear a 15' by 14' tall path for it, its not for the forests. Also, going down sharp grades it is top/forward heavy. I have seen the U1800 do a front wheel stand off a rock ledge (that it failed to make it back up, I might add).
You stated parts are cheap, haha. Even the old 404 series parts will often break the bank. In fact I know a guy that makes his own (as it is often cheaper) instead of buying.

As for Tibus' lockers, there is enough interest. I speak to Daniel on a regular basis, he still would like to do it but it requires time, capital, & energy that is better spent elsewhere for the time being. It is a limited market, maybe 50 units would be sold over the course of a couple years. Once again, you have NO idea what you are talking about. This is clearly demonstrated by the dangerous little knowledge you have. Yes, the axles shafts are the weak point in this FIFTY year old design. They are still rated by Dana 60 standards. The right rear is the weak link, not the left. See what a little knowledge equals in your case? Ignorance.

Pinzgauers are nice, the Volvo 303/11-11 are better. Compared to the Pinz, the Volvo is water-cooled, higher horsepower, portal are much stronger, vacuum lockers front+ rear (volvo is the standard when it comes to locking diffs), 17" of ground clearance with 34" tires, very stable, wider (almost a PW),longer wheelbase, quieter, comfortable cruising speed is 65mph, top speed 80, the list goes on.

Blah blah blah. The question is, Mr. RockTruckTester what do you have/had? What do you want? What did you build? What can you afford?

Respect, Big Ups Yourself.
