As 02 is a given, (unless you are trying to start in a c02 tent), the problem then lies in getting the spark and the fuel to meet each other at the right time. Is the distributer turned 180 degrees off at TDC? Are the spark plug wires all placed correctly? Is the carb getting enough gas? Too much? Good spark at the plugs? I would bet that the problem lies in the timing of the meeting of the three at the correct time in the piston chamber.
