Well, I removed the manifolds today. I broke four bolts, two broke off flush and two broke with about 1/2" sticking out. I sprayed them down with PB Blaster again and I'm going to let them soak a little while longer before I try remove them. I guess it could have been worse. When I removed the bottom bolts I lost the coolant in the head. I have never seen bolts go into the coolant passages like that before. Is this normal? Should I use studs or bolts when I put this back together?
