Bill, sounds like the same guy, w same name, and when I confronted him, after muach of our transaction, he threatened me. He called thru the IP over phone operator for deaf people. In other words, I didn't speak directly, and when I passed it up the chain to the operator and her boss, that he threatened me over their service, they tried, but nothing. I kept a complete file on this asshole. Maybe we should compare notes. I kept the check. Didn't go to the cops---yet. Do you want to go further on this together with me? I'm in LA @ 310-488 6017. He is in my "bad boy" file. The name "Brown" in "UK" sounds like the same guy. We should compare "checks". Hope you didn't get hurt by this. I only lost a week of time, some hope for $$$ and a sale.
PS. I finally did allright with my engine for sale, traded to Kurt for a rolling chassis. My ad was on the old Dodge website, among others.
