Here are some things that could be adding the the problem:

- Old hard rubber cab mounts - can't absorb the flex of the frame when off-roading,

- If the transmission floor cover is laying on top of the transmission around the gear shift port - common for old cab mounts, will cause ondue stress on the cab,

- If the frame has a crack somewhere, this will allow additional frame flex.

Check for these. Although the center mount sounds like a solution, the cab is constantly flexed by the weight of a driver at 40mph by "G" forces. Over the long haul, the center mount solution may not be much better.

For those of us that like off-roading a lot, the swival frame kit is the best solution.
