Please share descriptions or photos of on-board air compressors you've had, built or seen. I'm interested in ideas, preferably vintage or vintage-looking. It doesn't have to be on a Power Wagon.

I read about the PTO-driven air compressors in the Pwer Wagons in the Desert book. I'd like to know more about those units.

I brought home this old dentist's air compressor, because I thought it might be adapable as a belt-driven or PTO driven unit. The patent plate says 1917. It works great. It might be a shame to tear it apart, but what are you gonna do with an old dentists' compressor?
