I have searched the archives (sort of) looking for information on putting an early hemi in a ff PW. Have gathered up a couple PWs and have a Chrysler 331 hemi and trans. and am considering making a conversion. So far the main issues seem to be interference with the steering box and the trans sits higher than stock. Is overall length a problen with the 230 engine bay?
I would like to hear from those who have done this conversion about potential problems and what the fixes are before I start this project. My goal is to leave the truck as virgin as possible so it can be put back to stock in the future.
