I read about that in Dunn's book. The one I just got is the early series. I got it off the second owner. The original owner bought it new and had it barged out to Ruby Alaska and used it for years out at his gold mine then when it started to run bad he gave it to the second owner to fix as long as he could continue to use it in the summer. The wife of the first owner went to the second owner and asked him to act like he was always working on it but never get it going because "Dennys gonna kill himself in that rig". Years went by and the original owner, Denny, died and the truck sat ever since. I'm assuming the flathead engine mounts are the same as the powerwagon and I could bolt a newer flathead in with a newer manual tranny (50's) without much trouble.?
