1955 on e-bay, 1956 in the Don Bunn photo. That seems to be the only change. They had the turning radius of a Jeep, in fact the Jeep postal van is what replaced this truck after only two years. After Jeep was purchased by AMC, the AM General van, which is about the same size as the Dodge, became the standard postal truck.
