minimizes the cut to to a 1/4 inch eyebrow about 4inches long. by 1/4 inch i mean you cut no more than 1/4 inch into the rail. i runied a box doing it (ground 2 far) but id rather sacrifice a box than butcher a wwii frame. i saved the eyebrow, but i suspect that one would never know the cut was made if the orig box was installed. i never plan on selling my command car especially since my 5 day old son, jack, will be inheriting my rig.
btw, i have a new rebuilt reverse rotation saginaw. perfect guts. case could likely be welded if inners were removed, welding was done and then reassembled. id sell it real cheap to someone. transfer new parts into your core box.
