I wish I had thought to run in and grab the video camera. There was a short period after the second patch attempt failed where
I realised it was all over. He had his foot over the hole but there was nothing to be done at that point. I should have told him to keep his foot over the hole just another minute and grabbed the camera. It would not have been as spectacular as the pictures you posted of the tugboat getting sucked under the bridge. Now, if he got sucked under the pool wall, that would have been noteworthy. Oh well.
