Not much. In general, very interchageable. I doubt much difference in cams, and the compression is set by the head. And since they were made to run on 65 octane gas, the higher ratios are probably OK for today's gas. Only way to tell them apart is by the stamped number, thats why were always reading posts of "what do I got- D 30....
