Fake, and what it means to me...

I called this truck "fake" as it is not what the seller claims it to be, a rare factory 1939 4x4 less then 1 1/2 ton in size.

It is also not one of 6 made of anything, as the chassis is MUCH more common then that, and I think there were more TE-20s made then 6.

I know of nothing made by Dodge that fits that description, and to claim to have such a thing should require some serious research.

As a truck sitting in a field, this thing is real, and it will hurt my foot if it drives over it, but that is true of lots of homemade non-original stuff in the world.

Remember some of the pictures I have sent you of stuff, it took LOTS of effort in some cases just to figure out what the components were, let alone how that had been combined to make what was in front of me!

In any case, you are right, I will try not to refer to things as fake in the future, as they obviously exsist in the physical reality in which we live. :-) :-)
