That's correct, I assumed that you did that months ago when we first talked about it. Whether the letter comes back "undelivered" or signed for, keep that as your "proof of service", then simply go to the court or DMV and get the forms to fill out to lien the truck. Down here a Lien Server costs about $45 and they do all of the work, no lawyers, etc., when the period to respond is expired, the registration can be placed back into your name.
