I can see both sides of this. I recently got what I thought was a heck of a deal on e-Bay; the winch set-up for my M-37 for $800.00. Now, this isn't just the winch, this is the frame extensions, bumperettes, cable, PTO, drive shaft, and a bag of bolts and washers, EVERYTHING to put it on my truck!! I bid $1,000.00 and it started at my opening bid of $800.00. I watched down to the last minute waiting for someone to 'snipe' me, but I got it for the sole bid of $800.00. Now, I was willing to bid $1,000.00, if I had been out-bid, from someone hearing about it on this forum, or anywhere, then they out-bid me. I knew how high I was willing to go and if I'd have been out-bid, that's life. I would have had to have just kept looking for another deal. I would have been sad I missed it but not an earth shattering event!
My two-cents worth, and I probably owe you change from that...
