I am sure the powerwagon was a brute for its time and its very cool, but it is simply not worth fixing back to the 1950's equipment. And I think you might be confused about how tough some vehicles are made today. I know there are alot of non offroad "4x4's" but there are still some beasts made today. I really like the powerwagons, but I would put a my buddy's 02 dodge with the cummins up against a powerwagon any day. Just my 2 cents.
