Fuel Gage

Iwould like to put afuel gage on my 46 PW its 6 volt i need a seperate gage and sending unit in case the one in the tank is no good it is for the tank at the back of unit where i have two side by side but hooked together but have now way of knowing the fuel level Napa has 12 volt ages only thanks
