It would have been a M-606, built for the US and foreign military forces but this one looks to have been made for the Swiss Army due to the gas filler protection and the blackout light on the fender and how it is wired. US Forces also used the CJ3B and often it had some 'tactical' items added, such as the M38 headlight guards seen on this jeep. This jeep also has the rare fold out windshield often seen on US Navy CJ-3B/M606 jeeps.
