Not if the engine was cold and the piston was not at TDC when you did it.

Steps
1. Take off the valve covers, then start and idle the engine to operating temperature,
2. Use firing order (153624) and rotate each piston to TDC before you adjust the valves for that cylinder,
3. Adjust intake to .010 and exhaust to .014
4. After you have adjusted all valves, start the engine and listen for any loud tappets indicating a readjustment. If they all sound pretty much the same, stop engine,
5. Clean engine block surface of any oil and place the covers on using new gaskets. You can use a light film of gasket sealer and tighent the cover screws a little letting the gasket material set up before you tighten the screws completely.
