I wonder if anyone makes a temp gauge that the burbon tube assembly would fit into a PW Housing, maybe just mount and swap needle indiacators ??

I have sent many boat mechaincal temp gauges with the bulb out for rebuild. They come back with all new tubing and bulb. No indication of a splice ?? Pat Powell in Chicago is a well known boat instrument rebuilder who does this work.
