Closely inspect the ujoint 'caps' for signs of rotation, or rust flakes in the area. Then try putting the rear end on jack stands and running it. KEEP HAIR AND CLOTHES OUT OF HARMS WAY. Listen with a sounding bar- any loong tool ot steel bar, held to ear area and pushed against housing areas. No need for stethiscope, bone conduction will be plenty loud for a diagnosis. Try all housings, in the neighborhood of each bearing.
