I'd say if you can't answer that on your own then you don't need one!
What I tell my princess that it keeps me home in the shop where she needs me and not out late at night in the bars. I tell her it allows me to meet new friends after work on Sundays who share the same family interests. I also tell her I am trying to perserve a piece of our great countries history for our children and our grandchildren.
