Yep, I used the same tubes with 37 inch Buckshots, the tire shop refered to them as LPT 15 radial tubes and also said they are used in lowboys as you said. Worked good and the radial tires made for a nice ride. I've never went past 37 inches cuz of the hieght of my garage doors but have had no problems with room in the wells with no lift. 38s would fit just fine as long as their not to wide for the narrow split rims.
