Okay, I got my "new" 1992 Cummins home about two hours ago, and can't take my wife for a ride 'cause it's dark now and I discover I have no exterior lights except the headlights!! A quick review of the fuse box shows (someone's messed with it 'cause it's hanging down and 'zip-striped' to the steering column, they added a brake box for a trailer) that the fuse to the "horn/ext.lights" is half melted (but the horn works)!! There is no owners manual or any books with this purchase. A check of the back of the fuse box shows the one small wire melted away and one still connected (horn, obviously). Looks like someone put a 25 amp fuse in there instead of a ________________ (someone with an owners manual or knowledge PLEASE fill in that blank so I can use the correct size fuse!). I think it's a simple fix, it's just gonna' take time tomorrow in the DAYLIGHT to repair the lights wire. If I can find out what size fuse is suppose to be in there, I can test and see if it's gonna' draw too much or not. Thanks for any help!!

Dana (other than that, the truck ran GREAT all the way home from Denver!! About 17 mpg at 75-80 mph with the A/C on!)
