We all owe a debt of thanks to Tony aka "Monkey Man" he has been the de facto administrator of the Big E site for a considerable time. He has also been the voice of reason in heated debates and the arbiter of of some of the more vociferous disputes occuring there.
As for the loyalty shown for the Big E site.
It is admirable that the members feel such an attachment . I won't speculate on whether or not the site will return, but I see no harm in multiple sites supporting the same goal. Which , in my view is the preservation, restoration and enjoyment of these great old trucks.
Most of us check in at any number of sites in search of a tidbit of information or to get a different slant on a topic of discussion.Ultimately we can only benefit from more places to discuss or cuss or favorite mode of transport.
