Ok Guys, I am getting the idea now that Eric dosen't want to be found or at least it "feels" that way but the reasons behind it all are not known.
Cabell's idea of a new forum is great and although the dodgem37.com name is taken the dodgem37.net name is not, maybe Eric will show up down the track or the domain name will simply go dormant and become available.
Financing the extra bandwidth if required would be easily done on a "paypal" link donation basis that I would happily pay into, as far as the script & all goes anything will do I think. Maybe you could tie in with Robi's site as Eric gave permission to send all the gallery pics etc. to him and I have done so, just an idea anyway......
As far as site moderation and account maintainence etc.I would be glad to do
the same as I did for Big E if required but this may be something you are keen to do yourself, I will however help in any way I can :-)
Don't get me wrong about Eric, as dissappointed as I am whith the whole
affair at the present I am still concerned about him as one of my good friends and hope to hear from him soon to make sure he's ok.

I am seriously considering adding a forum to my site.
That said, I have to talk to my brother who is providing the server and bandwidth that I am using to see if it is ok.
I will be able to do this during the July 4th week since we will both be at the beach (he is in Norway giving a Linux talk this week...).
I did a search on the ownership of www.bigelectric.com and www.dodgem37.com
yesterday. They come up as being in Eric's name still and his address is given althougth there are three locations given and six phone numbers...
If I was to set up a forum, I likely would use a different software package than Eric, and purchasing his URL may or may not happen, depending on Eric...
Let me know if you hear anything.
