Hi Dave,
I pulled the heads on my GMC this weekend because of 4 broken manofold bolts. I didnt break them, they broke on their own. One I was able to get on with vise grips. The other 3 I contemplated drilling etc. but finally decided to not screw around (no pun intended) with them. I dropped them off at an engine rebuilding shop to let them get them out. They said it would cost between 60 and 120 dollars, all depending on the amount of time they spend. The first question he asked was "did you try to get them out yourself?" I guess they get alot with broken off drill bits and easy outs in them which makes their job alot harder.
